This project involved a total refurbishment of a 3-bed semi with a rear extension. As there were subsidence issues with this dwelling one chimney was removed from the roof to the foundation. All the existing concrete floors were removed to a depth of 1 metre to allow for mini piles to be installed to a depth of 4-5 metres, support needles were installed to all external walls, and a 300mm thick concrete raft poured.
Radon barrier, insulation and a 100mm screed were poured to complete this element of the project. Attention was then turned to all internal works which included electrics and plumbing. Then all internal works were completed to a turnkey finish.
